The Ohio Valley Basketball Officials Association would like to honor one of its own members, Larry Betsch, as one of Southwest Ohio’s longest running and most respected officials on the completion of an outstanding career.
In 1967, Larry started officiating high school basketball. Within that timeframe, Larry has also spent a few years proudly serving our country and defending our freedom. That’s 45 years of officiating and over 1900 high school basketball games.
He is held in the highest regard in Southwest Ohio as first class official, and outstanding gentleman and a strong advocate of interscholastic athletics. We would also like to acknowledge many of the leagues in SW Ohio for honoring Larry prior to games in his final season. Please join us in congratulating Larry “Roundy” Betsch on his outstanding officiating career.
