Founded in 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Ohio Valley Officials Basketball Officials Association is an OHSAA sanctioned officials association and training organization. Our referees serve high school leagues in the greater Cincinnati area.

Want To Be A Basketball Official?

The Ohio Valley Basketball Officials Association (OVBOA) is sponsoring  a class for those interested  in obtaining an OHSAA Basketball Officiating license.

Classes will be held from 6:45pm to 9:00pm at Norwood High School beginning  Tuesday, September 20, 2011 and run for ten (10) consecutive weeks.

Cost of this class is $105.00, which covers rule books and other classroom materials, test materials, and first year dues to the OHSAA and OVBOA.

Upon successful completion of the course, new members will be eligible to officiate basketball games this year at the Junior Varsity level and below.
